With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Joshua Luke Williams, a shining light in the lives of all who knew him.

Born in Toronto on September 1st, 2001 to Valencia Williams and Jason Williams, Joshua was the beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin. His infectious enthusiasm and joy were contagious, and he will be deeply missed by his family and community.

Joshua’s passions included computers, Japanese anime, and great food. He was a voracious reader, a curious learner, and a kind soul with a heart full of love for his family, especially his sister Elizabeth. His dreams of becoming a journalist reflected his keen intellect and love for storytelling.

Joshua’s absence leaves a profound void in our lives, but his memory will live on through the countless moments we shared with him. His magnetic personality, bright smile, and positive attitude drew everyone to him. He will be remembered for his kindness, his love for life, and his unwavering dedication to his family.

Joshua survived by his parents, Valencia and Jason Williams; his sister, Elizabeth; Grandmother Mrs. Aggie Williams; Grandmother Deloris and a community of aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly.

A visitation for Joshua will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West, Oshawa. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 1:30 pm.
