With saddened hearts, the family of Guy Wilson announces his peaceful passing on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at the Marrotta Family Hospital in St Catherine’s at the age of 69.
He was surrounded by his loving family after bravely facing cancer with extraordinary strength.
Guy leaves behind his loving wife of 42 years Adriana (Pace) Wilson and his two daughters, Jennifer and Candace Wilson of whom he was extremely proud of. Loving brother of Alice Wasolovich (Moe) cherished Uncle of Greg Demizio, and Meredith Cartwright (Hayden).
Predeceased by his parents, Alice and Edgar Wilson and his in-laws, Terzo and Stella Pace.
He will be sadly missed by his in-laws, Joseph Curcio, ( the late Fernanda), Angelina and Denis Carrier, Rosemary Breitenbach,( the late Ken), Kevin Kirk, (the late Silvana Pace), and the late Rita Booth. He will be forever in the hearts of all of his nieces and nephews.
Guy’s career began May 1, 1978 with the Welland fire department local 481. This profession was truly Guy’s calling. He was a dedicated firefighter, known for his courage and devotion to his work. He served his community with unwavering commitment and always one of the first to enter a scene. His deep love for the fire service shaped not only his career, but the lives of those he protected, and those he worked beside.
He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered for all of the lives he touched.

Family will receive relatives and friends at the Faith Welland Church, 380 S. Pelham Rd., on Friday, December 12th from 10am-11am followed by a Service and Celebration of Life at 11am.
