WINTERS, Adriana “Jeane” Winters

After a life well lived our beloved Mom passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday June 2, 2026 at the age of 95. She has gone to join her  beloved husband  Bill who predeceased her in April of 2024. Cherished mom of Rita (Dick Pettes), Maria (Chris O’Gorman) and Robert (Lorraine) and mother in law of Debbie. Predeceased by her sons Harry, Peter and Louis. Proud and adoring Oma of Dan (Kyna), Devin (Brigitte), Megan, Kayla, Will, and Harrison. Fondly remembered by her great-grandchildren Kailum, Austin, Bryson, Emmett , Charlotte and Fred. Dear sister of Piet, Daat, Riek, Cor, Hans and Agnes. Predeceased by her siblings Wim, Kees, Henk, Truus, and Herman. Jeane will be fondly remembered by her many dear nieces, nephews, and friends.

In the early 1950s, Jeane and Bill emigrated from the Netherlands to Canada, laying down roots that would soon bring more of their beloved family across the ocean, including her sister Cor, Bill’s brother Harry and his wife Riet, and his sister Lydia. For Jeane, family and friendship were most important. Adriana had an open-door policy. There was always room at the table for a visitor, and time for a cup of tea and conversation. She believed in contributing to her community, volunteering with many organizations. She was creative, talented, and always eager to learn new things. Jeane had a deep impact on many lives and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St. S, Renfrew on Monday June 8th  from 2-4, and 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Renfrew on Tuesday June 9th at 10:30 am. Interment St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to Groves Park Lodge Auxiliary. The family wish to thank the wonderful staff of Groves Park Lodge for the compassionate care that was provided to our Mom. You will never be forgotten.
