STARZYNSKI, Dennis Melvin - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dennis Melvin Starzynski, on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, in Newmarket, Ontario.
Beloved son of Rose and Michael Starzynski.
Best friend and soulmate of 50-plus years to Marilyn (deceased 2018).
Superb father to Jennifer, Michael, and David.
Loving father-in-law to Barry, Gillian and Kendra. Proud Poppa to Esmé, Henry, Melanie, Adrienne and Andrew.
Born in Regina, Saskatchewan, he moved cross-country as a young man to complete Law School at Dalhousie University in Halifax. Once married, he settled in Toronto with Marilyn, where they began raising their family.
He practiced law for 50 years in Markham and helped countless family, friends and strangers with his wise counsel and practical advice.
He maintained his sense of humour right to the end, politely reminding the nurses he ordered a scotch when they brought him apple juice.
