CLARKSON, Diane Lynn Clarkson - Born on August 22, 1961, to mother Elaine Patricia (nee Eisner) and the late Gordon Cameron Clarkson, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 4:43 a.m. at Trillium Health Partners - Mississauga Hospital.
Diane was the third and youngest child of Pat and Gord and has two older brothers, Michael and Gordon.
Diane is also survived by four loving nephews, one niece, and two grandnieces.
Diane graduated from Clarkson High School in June 1982, with Honours and she was an Ontario Scholar. She then attended the University of Toronto (both downtown and Erindale campuses) and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in May 1986.
Diane battled with mental illness for almost 40-plus years and the Clarkson family would like to thank the ACT Team of Mississauga for their ongoing support, with special thanks to David, Christine and Dr. Suzanne Legault.
David was Diane's Personal Care Worker for over 14-plus years, and Dr. Legault was Diane's Physician for 30-plus years.
Other notable thanks goes out to the LIN and Able Living that supported Diane while she battled to live on her own for the past 10-plus years.
In loving memory of Diane, the Clarkson Family hope she is finally at peace.
