ROBINSON, Jack - It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jack Robinson in his 93rd year, at Ross Memorial Hospital on July 30, 2022.
Jack was predeceased by Betty (Cochrane), his wife of 52 years.
He was fortunate enough to find love again with Ruth Mooney for 16 years.
Predeceased by his parents, James and Isabel Robinson; brother, James; sister, Eleanor; and youngest son, Jackie.
He leaves behind his children, Janis, Robert (Leslie) and Sally (John); six grandchildren, Craig, Richard, Sarah, Kristopher, Nicole and Jason; six great-grandchildren, Chase, Kairon, James, Finnley, Keira and Corbin; and extended family, Jackie (Patrick) and Cassandra.
He had a great passion for sports, particularly boxing, baseball, golf and hockey.
And his love of music led him to playing the harmonica or out on the dance floor.
Friends and family are invited to the Bobcaygeon Legion for a Celebration of Jack's Life on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, people wishing to honour Jack's commitment to family and community can make donations to the Bobcaygeon Legion Branch 239 or the Ross Memorial Hospital.
