IOANNOU, Prokopis (Peter) - It is with heavy hearts we announce that Prokopis (Peter) Ioannou passed away peacefully, in the early hours of September 13, 2022, at Mississauga Hospital, a month short of his 93rd birthday.
He went to be with his daughter, Joan, who had passed away three weeks prior.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years, Afroulla; children, Vicki (Andreas), Joan predeceased (Edmund), Jimmy (Tina), and Mike (Adi); his grandchildren, Anna Maria, Christina, Stephanie, and Michael; and great-grandchildren, Sophia and Andreas. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews in Canada, Cyprus, and Greece.
Peter lived a full life, touched many lives, and created many happy memories that will live fondly in the hearts of everyone.
Our hearts maybe broken, however, they are filled with many wonderful memories.
We know that you are now with Joan, and you will both be watching over us.
