With unfathomable heartbreak, we announce the passing of our Shining Star, Kamryn Jordan Leroux, who tragically left us on April 5, 2024, at the tender age of 23.
Surrounded by her family and childhood friends, Kamryn is the beloved daughter of Shannon Leroux and John Greathead, cherished sister to Troy Greathead and Nicole Lockley.
She was the beloved granddaughter of Judy and Shawn Tobin.
Preceded in death 10 days prior by her grandfather, Jacques Leroux, on March 25, 2024. Loving grandmother, Nancy Glen survives her. Kamryn is survived by many cousins and other close-chosen family. Kamryn Jordan approached life with unparalleled bravery.
She spoke a different language than many of us and did "all the things" in her own, very beautiful way. Kamryn was an accomplished and gifted artist, singer, and professional model. She began her career with the Ford Modelling agency and later was signed with Next Models.
Although her external beauty and talent were thoroughly captured, it was her internal beauty that shone so brightly to all who knew her.
She was genuinely kind to everyone.
Her light shone from a deep place of compassion and was rooted in the unconditional love she received from her mother; her best friend, biggest fan, and greatest supporter. Kamryn's legacy of compassion will endure, particularly as we carve out new ways to help girls facing similar challenges.
We express our deepest gratitude for the heroic efforts made by the team at Toronto Western Hospital, led by Dr. Steels.
Friends may pay their respects at the Turner & Porter 'Peel' Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.
