Higgins JamesHIGGINS, James "Jim" Patrick   -   It is with immense sadness that we share with you that Jim passed away peacefully, at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital, having fought bravely in his 3 year-battle with cancer, on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at the age of 67 years.

Jim is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Tamara (nee Rudnicki), who was his "Florence Nightingale" during his heroic struggle with cancer.

He is the father of Adam James (Stephanie Dobson) and grandfather to Sebastian James Patrick.

Son of the late Edna Agnes Higgins (nee Sylvester) and the late James John Higgins.

Brother to Michael (Joanne Carrelli), Eileen (Peter Content), Donald (Linda Griffiths), Maureen (Larry O'Connor) and loving uncle to many, many cherished cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Jim was born July 10, 1955 in Montreal, Quebec and was a graduate of Loyola High School and Concordia University.

Jim greatly cherished and enjoyed every opportunity to spend time with his immediate and extended family whenever possible. He recently became a "Grandpa" and was overjoyed with every moment he could spend with his beloved Sabastian.

Visitation is on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Glen Oaks Funeral Home, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville. A Funeral Service will be September 22, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Matthew's Parish, 1150 Monks Passage, Oakville, with a Reception to follow at the Church.
