HANLON, William "Bill" Frances Gerorge   -  Peacefully passed, surrounded by his loving family at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on November 11, 2022.

Bill Hanlon, in his 94th year, beloved husband of Kathleen (nee: McNamee).

Loving father of Paul and Nadia Hanlon (Shawn, Abby, Sarah), Anne Marie and Larry Tucker (Ryan, Maddie, Lauren, Jaclyn), PJ and Jamie Sheppard (Curtis), Sharon Hanlon and Lori Doonan, and Maureen and Joe Sinopoli (Benjamin, Samantha).

Dearly loved brother of Pauline Campbell (the late Robert), and predeceased by the late Gerard (Mary) Hanlon, Madeline (Joe) Trainor, and Florence (John) Shain.

Fondly remembered brother-in-law of Maureen Murphy (the late Bill). Forever in the hearts of his extended family and friends.

Bill was a dedicated Veterinarian (retired) who served communities in both the Chicago and Southern Ontario regions. Countless animals big and small have benefited from his compassionate care.

He devoted his time to serve his community in Schomberg Lion's Club, St. Vincent de Paul, and Knights of Columbus.

He was a lifelong devoted parishioner of St. Patrick's parish in Schomberg, Ontario.

Bill's family was the pride and joy of his life. His children and grandchildren are held fondly in a special place in his heart.

The family will receive friends at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham, on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church, Schomberg. Cremation to follow.

For those who wish, donations to St. Vincent de Paul, Schomberg or Ontario Humane Society, would be appreciated by the family.
