ASPDEN, Ronald Peter   -  Ron passed away unexpectedly but peacefully, on Monday, November 21, 2022, at his home in Elora, Ontario.

Beloved husband of Sharie (nee Woods), his partner of 35 years.

Sharie will cherish the memories of fabulous vacations and many meals shared with family and friends. "When

you love hard you lose hard"

He was predeceased by his parents Enoch Peter Aspden and Gertrude Stella (nee Adair) and his brother Tom. He is survived by his brothers Clayton (Jeanne), Leonard (Patti), Blake (Beverly), his sister Marilyn (Kevin), his mother-in-law Helen Woods, and his sister in laws Laura Pells (Brian) and Elene Aspden. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews Lynne, Lance, Steven, Julianne, Paula, Stacey, Karen, Todd, Olivia, Katherine, Bailey, and Mallory.

Ron will be remembered by his godchildren Steffany, Ryan, and Mia.

Ron dedicated his entire career to Woodbine and Mohawk Racetrack. He was respected in the industry and built many long lasting friendships. Moving to Elora in 2015 made Ron exceptionally happy.

It gave Sam and Lexi room to roam. How many dogs get their own groomed dog trails?

The property gave him the opportunity to utilize his talents renovating inside and out. No job was too big to tackle and every project allowed his daily trip to Home Depot!

As per Ron's wishes, cremation has taken place and A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring. Details will be shared closer to that date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to OVC Pet Trust.
