DORAN, Marguerite (nee KINSELLA) - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Marguerite, on January 27, 2023.
Predeceased by her husband, John.
Marguerite will be lovingly remembered by her large and loving family; her many friends in the Toronto area and in her hometown of St. John's, Newfoundland; her special friend and companion, Walter Sokol; and her much-loved great-nephew, Drew Putt.
We will cherish all that she brought to our lives, her love and her strong Catholic faith.
She was selfless, and cherished her many volunteer and social activities with Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, Stonegate Seniors Plus Club and the Royal Canadian Legion, among others.
The family would like to extend many thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Toronto Western Hospital who took great care of Marguerite in her final moments.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, Etobicoke, at 3055 Bloor St. W., on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 12:00 p.m., with a reception to follow. Interment will occur separately in the spring in Mississauga, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society .
