Robert "Bob" D. Evans, aged 83, passed away on March 19, 2023, after a fall at home in Alliston and a short stay at Sunnybrook Hospital.
Beloved husband of Joan (née Wilson) for 59 years; and loving father of John (Heather), Glynis (Bruce) and Stephanie.
He will be sadly missed by cherished grandchildren, Elin, Bronwen, Carys and Ashleigh; and by his extended family.
He was predeceased by his brother, Glyn; and survived by his sister, Patricia. Bob and Joan raised their family in King City.
Bob was a Chartered Accountant and co-founded Evans Martin Chartered Accountants in Bolton, and later Brampton, in 1975.
During his career, he devoted time to service with the Rotary Club and Junior Achievement, among others. In retirement, Bob and Joan enjoyed winters living and golfing in Naples, Florida.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 15, 2023, at 2 p.m. at W. John Thomas Funeral Home in Alliston.
