In loving memory of Walter Douglas File who passed after a brief illness.
Walter was predeceased by his parents, Ronald and Mable; sisters, Doris and Alicia.
He is survived by his wife of almost 71 years, Joan; his brother, Edgar; and children, Peter (Maureen), Diane Keates, Rhonda Mather (Greg) and Bruce (Tony).
Also his nine grandchildren: Kristy, James, Kelly, Chelsey, Kevin, Melissa, Erica, Brooke and Kendra; plus thirteen great-grandchildren.
Walter, a retired teacher, renovator and a life member of the masonic lodge will be greatly missed and cherished by all. His spirit will carry on in all of us forever.
Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Orangeville, ON, on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m.
