LENDRUM, Francis Clyde - Known to many close to him as “Cuff” passed away peacefully at his home on Friday September 18, 2020. He was surrounded by his wife and son who loved him dearly.
Clyde is survived by his wife Angie, his sister Leslie and son Scott.
He is pre-deceased by his father Francis Clyde Lendrum Sr, his mother Marion Lendrum, brother Robert Douglas Lendrum and his daughter Lisa Christine Lendrum.
Clyde was a loving husband, father and brother.
He was an avid boater who loved being out on the lake with his family and friends.

PEARCE, Alfred Leslie Charles (Les) - August 15, 1934 - September 18, 2020
Died peacefully at North York General Hospital of congestive heart failure. Predeceased by brothers Jimmy, Raymond and Donald.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 45 years, Doris, son Jeffrey (Dawn), step-daughter Janice McGill (Rod), step-son Gregory Fleury and brother Robert (Jackie).
Loving grandpa to Tyler, Rowan and Lola Pearce, Daniel and Jonathan McGill and Shannon Curlett.
After he retired as a Guidance Counsellor, Scarborough Board of Education, Les and Doris enjoyed travelling, especially to warm locations in the winter where they could snorkel. He also had a new interest as an extra in many movies.

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Gemma.
She was always welcoming, had a positive attitude, and was ready with her quick wit to make people laugh.
Throughout her life she gave unending love and friendship to her husband, Raoul, daughters, Michelle (Anthony Narayan), Patti (Rick Hackett), and Nancy; and to her grandsons, Steve, Phillip, Adam, Ryan, Aaron, and Tyler.
She also had a special place in her heart for Dr. Remi Mozes, and her many nieces, and her nephews.

CARVETH O'HARE, Marilyn (nee HUZZELL) - July 24, 1931 - September 18, 2020
It is with great sadness that the family of Marilyn Carveth O'Hare announces that she went to be with her Lord and Saviour on September 18, 2020, in her 89th year.
Marilyn, of London, Ontario, was born in Toronto on July 24, 1931.
She was the devoted wife of the late Douglas Carveth and late husband John O'Hare.
Beloved mother of Paul Carveth, Stephen Carveth (Indra) Catherine D'Andrea (John) and stepmother of Kevin (Karen), Kim Brown (Don) and Kerry (Sandy).

KING, Lorraine Sarah Stewart (nee MILLAR) - December 20, 1930 - September 18, 2020
We are saddened to announce the passing of Lorraine King on September 18th, 2020 just short of her 90th birthday.
She was predeceased by her devoted husband Harold Owen King, her twin sister Lois Colbeck, her eldest sister Beryl Millar and her brother Bob Millar.
She is survived by her two loving sons Timothy and Brett King.
Lorraine grew up on a farm in rural Manitoba, where she told us the mosquitos were the size of sparrows but life was good.

KIRKWOOD, James Alexander 'Jim' - It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Jim Kirkwood on September 17, 2020 at Toronto Western Hospital, at the age of 87.
Beloved husband of Marion (nee Woods) for over 63 wonderful years. Cherished father of Paul (Wendy Gilliam 2019), Jane (Larry), Joy, and Ken (Don).
Caring brother to Shirley Funk. Uncle to Steven, Pam, Michael, Deane, Doug, David, Mark and Karen. Adored grandpa to Laurena (Colin), Micaela, Mariana and Roslyn.
Jim was dedicated to social justice in his work as a minister with the United Church of Canada, working in Marsden, Saskatchewan and Zambia, and finally as an executive secretary for Africa in the division of World Outreach, United Church of Canada.

KIRKPATRICK, Desmond Courtney 'Des' - (1934 - 2020) - Des was born 1934 in Bangor, County Down (Ireland) and has lived in Canada for over 50 years.
He will be remembered by all his family and friends in Canada and back home for his cheerful and kind personality and great sense of humor which he maintained throughout his illness.
Dearly loved brother of Joan and Uncle to Jillian and his niece Sharon in England and nephew Paul and family in Ireland and cousin Peggy in California, he will be sadly missed.
Des passed away September 17th, 2020 after his long fight with MSA/Parkinson’s at Maple Health Centre in Vaughan.

Mom was married to the love of her life, John Beck Jennings, for 58 years. Pat and John had a daughter Tannisse. Pat was always there for her family. She leaves behind Tannisse, son-in-law Neil, grandsons Andrew and Scott, many nieces and nephews, extended family and her cat Nick.
Mom was born in Winnipeg, the daughter of Gerald and Eleanor McRae. Grandfather was a bank manager with CIBC. He moved around with the bank during his career. While growing up Mom lived in Winnipeg, Medicine Hat, Kingston Jamaica, and Halifax.

Nicolina was born in Pescolanciano, Italy on February 14, 1928. She was the daughter of Romeo and Maria Mancini and sister of Lina Musto (predeceased).
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Antonio Tedesco. Nicolina is survived by her daughter Anna Screnci, her grandchildren Stephanie (Nelson), Marianna (Sam), Joseph (Tessa), and Lucy (Ramy), and her great grandchildren Kayla, Alessandro, Daniele, Ennio, and Oliver.

BATTISTEL, Giovanni - On Thursday September 17, 2020, Giovanni, loving husband, wonderful father of two and proud grandfather of three, passed away at age 96.
Giovanni was born on February 19, 1924 in Vilotta di Chions, Pordenone, Italy.
He was a tenant farmer in an extended family of 18.
He believed a better life existed, so, at age 19, he travelled to Yugoslavia and became a tunnel digger.
He used explosives to blast through mountains to create train and street passages.
