HINTON, Richard James - September 25, 1964 - August 25, 2018
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Toronto General Hospital from complications following a cancer surgery.
Beloved husband of Cathy.
Loving father of Brittany (Cam) and Zackary and his cherished pets Simon and Bonnie.
Dear brother of Michael (Deb), David (Ramon), Stephen (Sue) and Peter.
Predeceased by his parents Norm and Clare.
Loving uncle of Dorelle, Alexander, Alex, Paige, Spencer and their families. He will be sorely missed by his huge and varied groups of friends from his high school days up to present; through his businesses in the gas industry; the many people of Tiny Township and especially his Cawaja Beach family who will miss visiting him at his Cawaja Pines General Store.
He was a Township Councillor in Tiny and his heart was broken at being unable to finish his term.
A memorial service will be held at Thornhill United Church, 25 Elgin St., Thornhill, on Thursday, August 30 at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Midland SPCA, or Toronto Wildlife Centre would be greatly appreciated.
