MILLWARD, Joan Mary (nee Knipe) - Died peacefully of Alzheimer’s disease on Saturday, August 25, 2018 in her 96th year.
Born to William James Knipe and Edith Mary Knipe (nee Denison) of Kenora, Ontario, she was a long-time resident of Midtown Toronto with her husband of 50 years, Ronald Frederick Millward (d. 2003).
She had a long and successful career as a schoolteacher with the Toronto Board of Education, notably at Parkdale Public School, where she imparted a high standard of excellence among her students.
