FERRIER, Doreen  -  A smile that lit up her sparkling blue eyes; a huge capacity for love and laughter; warm hugs; listening ear; homemade cookies; magical Christmases; fun filled summers at the cottage - this was our Mom.

Mom passed August 20, 2018, a month after her 98th birthday.

Mom - we will miss you everyday but you will not be forgotten. Your love lives on in all of us.

She was also known as Mawsie, Granny Good Heart, Gran and GG.

Although born in Canada, she was living in England with her family at the start of WWII when she met and married a handsome Canadian soldier - Arthur Ferrier.

They enjoyed 55 great years until his sudden passing in 1996.

Sadly she also lost both her much loved sons, Ray and Don, to cancer. She is survived by her (also much loved) daughters, Lynne (Alex) and Lesley and her two daughter-in-laws, Sandy and Ann. Her grandkids, Michael, Mark, Krista, Joel, Tonya and their families loved her and always enjoyed her company, her humour and her unending support. Everyone who knew her experienced her warmth, kindness and amazing spirit.

A Celebration of her Life will take place Saturday, September 8th, 1:30 p.m. at 1021 Kayes Lane, Bancroft (on Paudash Lake) - directions available on mapquest.

Donations may be made in her honour to Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, Paudash Lake Conservation Association or any charity that touches your heart. She gave to them all.
