HEAL, Peter Edward - Died peacefully on October 1, 2018 at the age of 93 at the Sunnybrook Veterans Centre after a full life which he embraced with a quick wit, creativity and curiosity.
He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten, by his wife of 55 years Frances, son Greg (Corinne), step-son Steve (Sue), step-son Paul (Diane), as well as his step- grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Sincere thanks to all the medical and support staff at the Sunnybrook Veterans Centre who provided wonderfully compassionate care while Peter resided there, as well as to the staff at Hearthstone by the Lake who assisted Peter before he moved to Sunnybrook.
At Peter's request, private cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service.
In remembrance of Peter, donations can be made to the Sunnybrook Veterans Grant a Wish Program, Sunnybrook Foundation, Alzheimer Society of Canada, or a charity of your choice.
