Samuel Grace

SAMUEL, Grace  -  Was born August 4, 1938, to Razia and Nathanael Roy. Her father Nathanael was a Captain in the Pakistani Army, assigned to the President’s Body Guard, Karachi, Pakistan.  Her mother Razia was a teacher.

Grace graduated from Saint Joseph’s High School in Karachi, Pakistan. She went to college and graduated with a BA Honours in English Literature. Grace was an English teacher. In 1964, Grace migrated to London, England where she worked and later she lived in Glasgow, Scotland.

In 1965, she met with her husband Victor and they got married in 1966. In 1971, she and her husband migrated to Canada. In 1972, she started working as a Student Counsellor at York University. 

She is survived by her three sisters, Esther, Ruby and Enid, a niece Cheryl, five nephews Robert, Eugene, Nadeem, Christopher and Andrew, and two grand nephews, Connor and Logan.

Grace was loved very much and we will deeply miss her.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the R.S. Kane funeral home, Toronto, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.  The funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 140 Brooke St, Thornhill, ON.
