COLEY, Glen Alan - In loving memory of Glen Alan Coley, 82 years old, who passed away peacefully at his home in Newmarket, Ontario on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 surrounded by family.

Born in St. Boniface, Manitoba on June 9, 1936. Son of the late Oliver and Annie Delta Coley, nee McFadyen. Cherished husband of Honor (nee Knudsen, deceased).

Devoted father of Casey and wife Lynette; Cory and husband Arthur Christakos; Colene and husband Richard Klopfer. Adoring grandfather to Karl and Katie Klopfer and Ben Christakos.

Dear brother of Doug Coley (wife Wenda) and Louise (husband Gary Barr).

Glen spent his formative years in Sudbury, and at the family’s West Arm Narrows camp on Lake Nipissing. He met Honor, the love of his life, when they were both students in Thunder Bay, and they married on September 18, 1959.

Glen traveled extensively for his long-time employer Corrosion Service of Toronto, but was a home-body at heart. Outdoorsman, woodworker, banjo player, storyteller, dedicated family man, and generous neighbour, Glen was also a natural teacher who will be remembered for his witty-while-instructive one-liners. Don’t forget neutral Dad!

A casual gathering will be held at King’s Riding Golf Club, 14700 Bathurst Street, King City, Ontario on Friday, October 19th, between 4:00 and 8:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation at http://www.southlakefoundation.ca/. Arrangements entrusted with Thompson funeral home, Aurora.
