Hall RobertHALL, Robert James  -  Bob died in Toronto, following complications from a fall suffered in September at his treasured cottage in Fenelon Falls.

He leaves Marie, his beloved wife of 57 years; his sons Geoff (spouse of Colleen Dempsey) and Brian; granddaughters Philippa and Clementine Dempsey-Hall; and many friends.

Bob was raised in Windsor, Ontario, attended the University of Western Ontario (where he met Marie), moved to Toronto in 1960, and had a long and successful career as a Chartered Accountant and investor.

He was a devoted husband, and an awesome father and grandfather. He loved nothing better than to putter around the cottage, and to spend time with his family. He experienced repeated health challenges in the last three and a half years of his life, but faced them with strength, fortitude, and dignity.

The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) (around the corner from where Bob lived for 26 years) on Sunday, November 4th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.  The funeral will be in Timothy Eaton Memorial Church, 230 St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto (where Bob was a member for more than a half century) on Monday, November 5th at 11:00 a.m.

If desired, donations to the Glaucoma Research Fund at Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation (www.tgwhf.ca/tribute), or to the charity of your choice, would be appreciated.
