STEEPE, Shawn Scott - Shawn passed away at Toronto Grace Health Centre on November 10, 2018, after a short illness.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Wendy Eva Steepe.
Born August 1, 1955 in London, Ontario.
Shawn attended C.C. Carrothers PS, G.A. Wheable SS and Westminster SS in London.
He worked at The Ford Motor Company in Talbotville, Ontario from 1973 to 1982 where he certified in Process Engineering and became the youngest foreman to date.
After teaching himself how to paint cars, he became the youngest paint department supervisor to date.
Moving to Toronto in 1982, he worked in the marketing and promotion field for over 30 years where he excelled in strategy and project design and for which he won several awards.
More than anything Shawn loved the outdoors and enjoyed his cottage at Belwood Lake for the last 20 years.
Shawn has donated his body to the University of Toronto Department of Anatomy.
A Celebration of his Life will be held by Wendy Steepe at a later date.
