Wilson CatherineWILSON, Catherine M. "Kay"  - Age 91, died on the morning of November 12, 2018, in the good care of Collingwood General & Marine Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Toronto to Andrew and Jessie (MacLeod) Russell.

She was the oldest sibling of their four children and predeceased by her three brothers, David, Donald and Ian.

Kay was an RN and Public Health Nurse in Toronto and Scarborough.

She was a warm hearted, generous and spirited woman with a caring love for others. Originally from Toronto, she was married for 65 years to her husband Roy Wilson (predeceased January 2013).

In their later years, Roy and Kay did an amazing job as ambassadors for the Town of Wasaga Beach.

OYEZ! OYEZ! OYEZ! (Oh yeah!!). Roy was the official Town Crier for Wasaga Beach for 15 years. Kay is survived by her children; Rick Wilson; Jan and her husband Bruce (Nicol); and Sandy (Bouwhuis).

Lovingly remembered by her five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The family extends sincere thanks to the staff of the Collingwood Hospital and the Waterside Retirement Lodge (Wasaga Beach). Cremation has taken place and no funeral service is planned.

A celebration of life will take place in the spring of 2019, date to be determined.

If desired, remembrances may be made to a charity or the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
