Haskell RobertHASKELL, Robert Leslie  -  June 11, 1927 - November 15, 2018

Robert passed peacefully at his family home in Etobicoke on Thursday, November 15, 2018.

Robert was the son of Reginald and Viola (Machum) Haskell of Revere, Massachusetts.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Marilyn (Stitts), son Roger and two daughters Susan (Thorsten Kaye) and Carolyn.He was known as "Papa" to his granddaughters McKenna and Marlowe. He served as an Aviation Radioman in the United States Navy during World War II.

Robert was graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. He received his MBA from Xavier University. He was an athlete who played football (nose tackle), enjoyed skiing in Vermont with his younger brother Richard (predeceased) and was a member of the Islington Golf Course for many years. He was President of NVF Industries Canada for 35 years.

He was a long-time member (Deacon/Finance Chairman) of Kingsway Baptist Church. Bob, as most called him, was also an avid reader who loved exchanging books with friends and a loving man with a dry sense of humour.

Bob's Celebration will be held at Kingsway Baptist Church on December 3rd, from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., 41 Birchview Blvd. in Etobicoke.
