Hungerson WilliamHUNGERSON, William "Bill"  -  Of Toronto, Ontario, born February 5, 1941, died unexpectedly on November 15, 2018 after a brief illness, and after the passing 12 days earlier of his beloved sister Eleanor.

He was the cherished son of the late Opria Hungerson (Ungureanu) and Marie Hammann.

Bill will be dearly missed by his sister Irma (John), brother-in-law Tony, nephews David (Tania) and Stephen, niece Janet (Carl), grandnephew Matthew, grandniece Jessica, steadfast and true friend Lorne, and the staff and residents of Wesburn Manor where he lived and thrived for over 13 wonderful years.

He was predeceased by his dear sisters Marion, Betty and Eleanor.

Bill was a happy, outgoing, spiritual and sweet man, innocent like a boy, who deeply loved his family and cared about others. He had a strong work ethic, on full display at every meal in Wesburn Manor's 3rd floor dining room where he helped others less able than himself and served coffee (his favourite drink) to all.

The family is deeply grateful for the compassionate support and loving care he received from Marsha, Doctor Vaithilingam and the 3rd floor nurses, Mila, Josephine, and all the staff at Wesburn Manor.

A private family burial has already taken place. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Bill's life, and the life of his sister Eleanor on Friday, December 7th. Service to be held at 2 p.m., to be followed by refreshments at Wesburn Manor, 400 The West Mall in Etobicoke.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to L'Arche Toronto https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/larche-toronto-homes-inc/ would be appreciated by the family.
