RACKUS, George Keistus - Passed away peacefully at the Amica Unionville Retirement Residence on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at the age of 91.
Born in Lithuania, George and his family immigrated to Canada when he was still a child.
He studied art at Wayne State University in Detroit and later at the Ontario College of Art in Toronto and the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris, France.
Loving father of David (Danute) and Philip (Stephanie).
Proud grandfather of Linas, Darius (Christe), Justin, Paige and great-grandfather of Enoch. Much loved brother of Illa Milliken. He will be greatly missed by all his extended family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of Amica Unionville for the wonderful care they provided George in his final years.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, Mississauga,) on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 11 a.m.
