WILSON, Edgar William (Bill) - Passed away peacefully on June 10, 2019 in his 62nd year after a 6 year battle with cancer.
Predeceased by his mother Joan. Sadly missed by wife Sharon, cherished father Ed Wilson Sr., his partner Lynda and lovingly remembered by brothers John and David of Thunder Bay, sister-in-law Lori, nephews Scott, Shayn and Saire along with step-daughters Denise and Monique and their families.
Employed by the TTC for over 25 years as an operator Bill was known for his great passion for playing guitar, writing and recording music, sailing with his father, long walks in the woods with his faithful dog, fishing and recently his new found enjoyment painting landscapes.
A special thank you to his many neighbors and friends that supported him throughout his courageous battle. Also thanks to Michael Garron hospital oncology unit for their compassion and care over the years.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Ontario SPCA & Humane Society.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, Scarborough Chapel, 2900 Kingston Road, Toronto, on Saturday, June 22nd, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
