Grannum BryanGRANNUM, Bryan Wilton - (August 24, 1947September 7, 2019)

It is with profound sadness that the family of Bryan Wilton Grannum announces that he passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday September 7, 2019.

Bryan was born August 24, 1947 and spent a wonderful childhood and adolescence in Black Rock, St. Michael, Barbados. In 1970, he immigrated to Canada, where he married and spent 33 years raising his family in Ajax, Ontario.

Bryan will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 41 years, Caswell (Cassie) Grannum, his daughter Nadia Campbell (nee Grannum), his son in law Courtenay and his grandchildren Cassius and Nia.

Bryan will also be fondly remembered by his surviving sisters Margaret (Grafton [predeceased]), Yvonne (Bill), Sybil (James [predeceased]), Eugene (Dudley), Joyce (George), Pearline (Mike) and Urla. He has many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who adored him and will remember him always.

Bryan loved the outdoors, animals and gardening. He was also known as a jack of all trades and even mastered many, as a mechanic, carpenter, interior decorator and chef, but his pride and joy was always his family. He made sure to impart his wisdom to all those he loved, his knowledge and lessons will forever be missed.

Visitation will be on Wednesday September 18th from 2-4 and 7-9 at Giffen Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Ave E, West Hill, Ontario.

All are welcome to attend a service to celebrate Bryan’s life on Thursday September 19th at 11am at Rosewood Church of Nazarene, 657 Milner Ave, Scarborough.

The family of the late Bryan Wilton Grannum will be having an intimate cremation ceremony after the church service. There will also be no reception as the family will spend this time together privately to honour Bryan’s wishes.

The family would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers during this difficult time.
