FORBES, Lois Marie  -  Passed on Tuesday, September 10th after a valiant battle with cancer.

Daughter of the late Earl and Anna Forbes, dear sister of Margaret (the late William) Young, beloved aunt of Julie (Wayne) Pulis, James (Bonnie) Young and the late Joseph Young. Great aunt to Connor, Ava, Madison and Benjamin. Cherished 'swetie' to Peter Montreuil. She is survived by numerous cousins both on the Forbes and Montreuil sides of the family.

Her engaging and gentle character made her very popular and many friends will mourn her passing, especially 'The Briars' gang. Lois was a long time employee of 20th Century Fox.

Cremation has taken place. Lois is resting at the Lynett Funeral Home, 3299 Dundas Street West, Toronto, Ontario. Visitation Monday, September 16th from 7-9 P. M.. Service in the chapel at 11:00 A.M. on September 17th, with reception to follow at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society or the Humane Society would be appreciated.

Lois genuinely believed that everybody deserved a seat at the table of the Banquet of Life, and earning her love was my greatest thing which I have ever accomplished. Typical of her kindly nature is the fact that she donated her corneas. Much gratitude to the wonderful people at PMH and St Michael's palliative care facilities, and the friends and family who have reached out to us at this tragic time. If you love somebody, tell them. Tell them everyday.
