SOTOS, Helen - Passed away peacefully on November 20, 2019 at the age of 92 at Michael Garron Hospital after a short illness.
Beloved wife of Mike Sotos who predeceased her.
Devoted mother of John (Niki), Ann (Peter), and Martha.
Loving Yiayia of John (Maria), Helen (Jeremy), Eleni ( Peter) and Maria (Michael).
Cherished Great, Grand Yiayia of Sophie, Giorgia, Kyriakos, Emily, Giulia and Tiana.
She is survived by her brother Nick and several nieces and nephews.
Helen was an original agonistes with an indomitable spirit, a generous heart and endless wisdom.
Family and friends will be received at Heritage Funeral Centre, Toronto on Friday November 22, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday November 23, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 30 Thorncliffe Park Drive, Toronto. Internment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael Garron Hospital or to the Hellenic Initiative Canada.
