Botelho AntonioBOTELHO, Antonio A. - Died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Castleview Wychwood Towers, Toronto, Canada.

Antonio was born on July 27, 1929 in the small town of Ribeirinha, Sao Miguel, Azores to Aldina Arruda and Clemente Botelho. He was the second son of eight children.

Antonio came to Canada in 1956, worked in various cities in Ontario and Manitoba.

He went back home to marry Maria Manuela in 1959. In 1965 he moved his family to Canada.

He is survived by his loving wife, his oldest daughter Mary(Gord), sons Tony(Tracy), Clemente(Lisa) and youngest daughter Estrela(Steve).

Antonio worked in construction for many years before he changed his career as caretaker at the university of Toronto. He was a hard working man. He did his work with great pride.

He was involved in many church communities. He was respected by many and helped family and friends tirelessly. He was the core of his family. He had a very dry sense of humor and very witty. He loved his family with great intensity.

He was proud of his children and grandchildren. He was a special man and will be missed greatly by many.Visitation will be held at Cardinal Funeral Home, Bathurst Chapel, Toronto on November 27, 2019 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The service will take place at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 130 Bathurst St., Toronto on November 28, 2019 at 9:45 AM.

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Toronto in memory of Antonio would be appreciated by the Botelho family.
