ALEXIS, Helen - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, Helen (nee Lazarin). Helen died peacefully in her own home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on Markham Street, Toronto, in the family home to Lambro and Mary Lazarin. Her father owned the Bathurst Lunch Restaurant, frequented by the staff at Western Hospital.
Helen is predeceased by her husband James, and her beloved sister Catherine. Helen met her husband James, who was fresh from the RCAF. They married in 1948 and had a wonderful marriage for 64 years.
Helen will be sadly missed by her children, Daniel and Marilyn and her grandson, Andrew.
She loved her family and friends. Many will have cherished memories of her kindness and caring. She was nurse, teacher and a guiding light to all.
Friends may call at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, Toronto, on Friday, December 6 from 5-8 p.m. A service will be held in the Bedford chapel on Saturday, December 7 – Time to be Announced or contact the funeral home at (416) 489-8733.
