RIVET (RIVEST), Denis Pierre - Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 16, 2020 after a brave battle with cancer at the age of 67.
Born on April 13, 1952, Denis will be missed by his wife Tammy, his children, grandchildren and 14 siblings.
Denis knew the importance of laughter and joy and shared this with everyone he knew. He was raised in Lavigne, Ontario. There, he gained strong family, rural and loyalty values. With these values and infectious personality, Denis was a natural friend and leader.
He worked for 40 years with Fermar Paving Ltd. as an asphalt foreman never having missed a day. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
A Memorial Celebration will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Orangeville on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Stronach Cancer Center would be appreciated by the family.
