Alleyne WilmaALLEYNE, Wilma Gloria - Passed away peacefully in hospital on March 31st, 2020 at age 90.

Wilma was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad, the youngest child of Iris Iona Cyrus and Beresford Alleyne.

Sister of Olga, Cosma and Albert (all deceased).

Loving Mother of Francine (Phil Dugas) who will miss her every day and cherish the sweet memories.

"Tanty Gloria" will be dearly missed by Denise, Herbert, Duane, Jason, Jamilia and Makesi.

She was a beloved Aunt to many more nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews in Canada, USA, Trinidad and England, including Eileen, Carol, Ansel (deceased), Colin, Hayden, Wendell and Abigail.

Wilma graduated with a degree in pharmacy in Port of Spain, Trinidad. She emigrated to Canada in the early 1960's along with her best friend, Monica -  first to Montreal and then to Toronto where she called home for the last 55 years.

She brought her mother to Canada to live with her after the birth of Francine.

Wilma completed more schooling in Canada and then took her skills to St. Joseph's Hospital where she was a pharmacist for 29 satisfying years, forging close bonds and friendships with many of her colleagues.

We wish to sincerely thank the doctors, nurses and the entire staff at the O'Neill Centre Long Term Care facility for their care and friendship over the last four years; the staff and her friends at the Annex Retirement Residence; the health care professionals at The Toronto Western Hospital and University Health Network; the staff at Cardinal Funeral Homes Ltd.; and all family and friends for their comfort and support.

During this time of uncertainty in the world, Wilma would not want anyone to risk their health or safety.  As such, there are no plans for visitation or a service.  Wilma's ashes are resting at the Cardinal Funeral Home and she will be buried at a private family internment at a later date.

If desired, donations to the Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
