Della Penta GiuseppinaDELLA PENTA, Giuseppina - It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Giuseppina Della Penta, born May 19, 1926 in Campochiaro, Campobasso, Italy, and passed away on her birthday, May 19, 2020 at Etobicoke General Hospital at the age of 94 years old.

Giuseppina's journey to Canada started with Pasquale, her husband, coming to Canada in 1952 and was joined a year later by herself and her daughter Teresa who was 6 years old at the time in 1953.

They started a new life and in 1956 came a new addition to the family, a son and a brother, Bruno.

Giuseppina was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she joins her predeceased husband Pasquale Della Penta, her siblings Emilio, Nicola, Filomena and Maria Assunta.

She is survived by her two loving children; Teresa Manchisi (Vito Manchisi) and Bruno Dellapenta (Roxane Melancon), a proud Nonna of 6 grandchildren; Roseanne Manchisi, Nadia Rosati (George Rosati), Sondra Russo (Robert Russo), Daniela Grassa (Frank Grassa), Daniel Dellapenta (Maria Iraheta) and Natalie Dellapenta (Matthieu Asanin Miroux).

Adored by her 10 great-grandchildren; Alesandra, Adriano, Julian, Liliana, Georgia, Amanda, Erica, Frankie, Vito and Lily.

She will be missed by all and always in our heart.

Funeral will take place at Ward funeral home, Woodbridge Chapel on Saturday, May 23rd.  **Please go to "Photos and Videos" on that funeral home's website to join its Zoom Service.
