Di Donato AmaliaDi DONATO, Amalia - God called Amalia peacefully on June 17, 2020 at the age of 88.

She is now reunited in paradise with her loving Husband, Antonio.

Cherished by her dear children, Vivian (Mario) Mazzone and Francesco (Carol). Proud Nonna to Stephanie, Paul (Enza), Anthony, Angelo and Ashley. Adoring great-grandmother to Christian.

Amalia is joined in heaven with her sister Emma and brother Armando.

She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends.

Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Maple Chapel (211 McNaughton Road East) on Thursday June 18th from 3 - 8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at the funeral home on Friday June 19th at 1:00 p.m. Private Entombment.

If so desired, donations in memory of Amalia may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

The Funeral Service for Amalia will be live webcasted on Friday June 19th at 1:00 pm from Vescio Funeral Home “Maple” Chapel. The webcasting link can be found on the funeral home's website on the ‘Photos & Videos’ section of Ms. Di Donato's obituary page.

The government has implemented that all attendees at funerals must always wear a mask. As some of the restrictions are being lifted the Bereavement Authority of Ontario has posted their guidelines of what we are able to do. https://thebao.ca/bao_attendanceguidance_june15_2020/

We can have public visitations with a maximum of 20 people in attendance per visitation room

We can have funerals taking place at the church which allows for up to 100 to 150 people to be in attendance in the Vaughan area (once maximum capacity has been reached no exceptions will be made to allow for more friends to enter)

We can have from 10 people up to 50 people if outdoors in attendance at the cemetery.

Masks are required at all churches and cemeteries. Those in attendance to the church and cemetery are asked to bring their masks to those locations or you will not be permitted to enter and attend the service.

We are encouraging all friends to come to the funeral home during the visitation periods if you are comfortable and meet us at the church for the funeral Mass.

We are asking for only the most immediate family members to join us at the funeral home on the funeral day and at the cemetery only.
