Colloins MichaelCOLLINS, Michael - Died unexpectedly at his home in Don Mills on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at the age of 87.

He is mourned by his wife Christine, daughters Anne (Greg) and Helen (Niall) and grandchildren Brendan and Seana Rogers and Declan, Liam and Ronan O'Connell.

Michael will also be missed by his brother John (Mary Jo), in Florida, sisters Breda and Mary (Pallany) and sisters-in-law Deirdre and Marie in Ireland as well as friends of 60 years, Steve and Marie Kennedy.

He was predeceased by brothers Jimmy and Paddy and by brother-in-law Peter Comerford.

Michael was born in Dublin and immigrated to Toronto in 1965 after working in the nascent field of IT in London and Glasgow, where he met Christine. During his early years in Canada, he built the first automated payroll system for CIBC and he spent his entire subsequent career with the bank.

Christine's nephew Fr. Paul Milarvie will livestream a requiem mass for Michael on Monday, June 22 at noon Toronto time at  https://tiny.cc/rcduntocher.  A committal service will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery, Toronto on Tuesday, June 23 at 11:00.  A memorial mass will be held at St. Bonaventure, Don Mills, at a later date, after the church has re-opened.

The family would welcome memorial donations to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul or a charity of your choice, in lieu of flowers.
