HERNANDEZ, Cole Marcus Matthew - (September 15, 2010 – August 8, 2020) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cole Hernandez.
God called Cole peacefully on August 8, 2020 at home under the loving and dedicated care of his parents, family and friends.
He was the cherished son of Marcus and Michelle Hernandez, and his beloved grandparents Myrtle Hodge, Rawle Small, Matthew Hernandez and his wife the late Eastlyn.
He fought a courageous battle with leukemia, and wore a badge of bravery until he passed away. Cole will be forever missed and loved by his mama and dada.
The family will receive friends at R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St., North York (2 blocks south of Steeles on the west side of Yonge), on Thursday August 20th from 2 - 6 pm.
*As restrictions concerning the COVID-19 Pandemic are still in place, the numbers of guests allowed in the funeral home is minimal. Please be prepared to wait outside. By keeping your greeting time in the funeral home to a minimun, that will help insure that wait times are not to long for others waiting. Your considerations are sincerely appreciated.
*Please be aware that all attendees are required to wear a mask or cloth facial cover, please have yours on before entering the building. Physical distancing will be of focus. There cannot be a gathering of guests or family anywhere on the property, nor within our foyer or hallways.
The funeral service will be held at Destiny & Dominion Word Ministries, 40 Colville Rd. North York (located off Keele St., south of Lawrence Ave.) on Saturday August 22nd (Service Time to be Confirmed - check the funeral home website). Attendance is limited due to the same current restrictions. The funeral service will be Live Streamed over the internet. Once the link has been established, it will be published on the RS Kane funeral home's tribute page.
Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery will be private and reserved for the family only. Please respect these wishes.
