Pizel AaronPIZEL, Aaron Pizel - Passed away at the age of 96, in Toronto, on August 27, 2020, after a short illness.

Aaron was born in Toronto on January 3, 1924. He lived in Toronto and wintered in Florida with Stella, his wife of 73 years.

He graduated from University of Toronto as a pharmacist and enjoyed a thriving business life as owner of Economy Prescription Service.

Stella and Aaron were active members of Temple Sinai in Toronto.

He had many friends who enjoyed golfing with him at Maple Downs Golf Course. He rarely missed his 3pm Jack Daniels and enjoyed when visitors joined him in his daily libation.

When Aaron retired, he spent more time in Florida, where his children and grandchildren enjoyed visiting. Florida was often the site of many large family and friend gatherings to celebrate his milestone birthdays.

Aaron is survived by his loving wife Stella who baked him "mandel broit" and butter tarts, both his favourites.

He is also survived by his sister Ruth Levine, his sister-in-law Gloria Pelchovitz, and his brother-in-law Jerry Leiderman (Sandra) and his children: Elaine Wilkerson and her husband Bill Wilkerson, Harold Pizel and his wife Barbara Atkin, and Joanne Heller and her husband Dr. Martin Heller.

He is also survived by seven grandchildren and their spouses: Michael (Jennifer) and Elliott (Lianna) Wilkerson; Adam (Lisa), Adrian (Jennifer), and Lorne (Victoria) Heller; Hayley Atkin Smith (Ben) and Matthew Atkin (Olivia); and seven great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.

Graveside services were held on August 28th.
