Angie Bird was born in Little Current, and grew up in Big Trout Lake, Sudbury, Sandy Lake, Wikwemikong and Massey. When Angela and her family would come to visit from northern Ontario, her grandparents would address her as Miss North Pole.

She later became known as Angie Bird to her aunties and uncles, a name that has stuck with her to this day. All her adult years were spent in Toronto, the city she loved so much and always called home.

Angela loved reading, watching movies, beading and even tried her hand at knitting. Most of all she loved sharing food with family and friends. She loved her sweet treats especially those baked by aunties and sisters.

Angela had a profound sadness since the passing of her son on January 1st of this year. She is now at peace reunited with her son once again.

Visitation will be held at Cardinal Funeral Home, Bathurst Chapel, Toronto on September 2, 2020 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. The service will take place in the chapel on September 3, 2020 at 11:30 AM.
