Coletta AnnaCOLETTA, Anna -1931-2020 - On September 9, 2020, the world lost one of the best.

Anna was a strong, fearless, kind and loving woman. She was a true partner to her husband, Eugenio. Together they immigrated from Italy to Canada in 1960 and built a wonderful life.

On Wednesday, Anna passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 89 surrounded by family and her beloved caregiver, Carmelina.

She was predeceased in 2017 by her loving husband of 58 years, Eugenio.

Anna will be greatly missed by her children Rosa (Daryl) MacLellan and John (Mary); her grandchildren Anna-Melissa (Josh), Victoria (Ieuan), Marissa, Karinna, and Jenna; and her great-grandchildren Penelope, Everett and Aurora.

Anna leaves behind her dear sister Carmina Mercuri (Tony), and her brothers Francesco (Anna) and Michele (Bianca).

She is predeceased by her brothers Antonio (Celeste) and Vincenzo (Judy).

Anna will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation is being held at Bernardo Funeral Home, Dufferin Chapel, Toronto on Sunday, September 13, 2020 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 10:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 24 Cheritan Ave, Toronto. Entombment to follow.

Many thanks to Carmelina, Brenda, Vida, Annie and Cecelia, and to Dr. Christa Sinclair-Mills and Dr. Susan Thouin who have been so wonderful and compassionate in their care of Anna.

Memorial Donations may be made in Anna’s name to Mount Sinai’s Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care, an organization whose support has been incredible these last few months. (80 Murray St., Toronto, ON, M5T 3L9 T 416-586-4800.).
