SETHI, Om Parkash -Passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020.
Om was born on Jan 15th, 1930 in Nairobi, Kenya, to Amar Nath Sethi and Sham Devi.
He worked for the British government in Kenya for more than 20 years.
He was married to his first wife Raj Kapoor; they were married for more than 20 years and had 2 sons Sunil and Binnay.
Upon his first wife's death, he married Nirmal Lal and they were married for 30 more years. Nirmal has a daughter Punam Davis.
Om was the proud grandfather of 4 grandchildren, Chanel and Ashley Sethi from his first marriage and Sachin and Tara Davis for his second.
He loved spending time with his family and friends, enjoyed sports and red wine, and always loved talking politics and sports.
He was known for his quick wit and infectious smile; he was a very loving and compassionate human being.
He is survived by his loving wife Nirmal Sethi, his sons Sunil and Binnay Sethi, his daughter-in-law, Mahnaz Alikhany, his step-daughter, Punam Davis, his grandchildren Chanel and Ashley Sethi and Tara and Sachin Davis.
He is also survived by his twin brother Ram Parkash Sethi, older brother, Suresh Sethi and younger brother Vinod Sethi in India.
A Funeral service will take place at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham, Ontario on Tuesday, September 15th, 2020 at 12:30pm. COVID-19 Restrictions will apply.
