Goranov FriedaGORANOV, Frieda - It is with profound sadness; we announce the passing of Frieda on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. After a long battle with Alzheimer’s, Frieda peacefully passed away at the age of 89 in her retirement home, surrounded by her family and care givers.

She was born on May 13th, 1931 in Katzberg, Germany.

A true love story, falling in love with another individual who spoke a different language other than her own.

Jordan Goranov (Pre-Deceased), sharing an unbreakable bond with emotion and a different language of love, they were united by marriage on April 14th, 1950 in Germany.

When Frieda’s children were young, the phrase “stay-at-home-mom” didn’t exist. It was usual for the woman to stay home with the children while their husbands worked, but even by the standards of that era, Frieda was an exceptional wife and mother.

She cared deeply about her husband and children.

Always ensuring the meals were hearty & perfect, as well as creating clothes for her family.

As any loving mother would, protecting and nurturing her family was first priority.

Frieda is survived by her three children. Her two daughters, Lora & Doris and her son, Jordan Jr. she will be forever cherished by her beautiful seven grandchildren & loving eight great-grandchildren.

Arrangements with Bernardo Funeral Homes, Toronto.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s society of Toronto.
