THOMAS, John - The family of John Thomas sadly announce his sudden passing in a motorcycle accident on October 10, 2020.
Loving son to Olympia & the late Spyros Thomas.
Devoted father to Katerina & Spiro and husband to Politimi (Papadakis).
He will be greatly missed by sisters Mary Heinmaa (Arthur) and Melissa Di Giacomo (Greg); and fun-loving uncle to Marcus & Anika Heinmaa, Vincent & Zoe Di Giacomo and Chanelle (Aron) Edson.
Godfather to Chanelle (Aron) Edson and Andrew Cara.
John will also be lovingly remembered by Madeline (Vicky) Furlano and missed by his many family & friends who have blessed his life – he will forever be in our hearts.
John was passionate about the game of tennis as well as children’s health and well-being.
Arrangements with Heritage Funeral Centre, Toronto on Friday, October 16 from 4-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 3840 Finch Ave East on Saturday, October 17 at 10 a.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, burial service is by invitation only. A service of celebration will be held once circumstances permit.
