NURISSO, Maria - Passed away peacefully on Monday, November 23, 2020 at age 96.
Predeceased by her husband, Aldo Nurisso.
Dear mother of Linda Unger (John, predeceased) and Ida Harding (Warren) and loving grandmother to Brian, Emily, Michael (Katy), Matthew and loving great-grandmother to Wesley.
The family is very grateful to Duena Widlak for her compassionate care of Maria in the last 2 years.
Born and raised in Gravere, Italy, Maria immigrated to Canada in 1950 to marry Aldo. She will be remembered for the importance she placed on her family and her joy of gardening and knitting.
A family funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 28 at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated by the family to a charity of your choice.
