Platt PamelaPLATT, Pamela Mary - (July 26, 1926 - November 30, 2020) -

Pamela Mary Platt was born and raised in British Columbia, primarily in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. She met her beloved husband Douglas Platt there near the end of WW2. He was in the Navy. They set up home in Toronto, Ontario and raised their family there; she made regular trips back to Nanaimo to spend time with her mother and siblings for many years, and get her fix of viewing the Rocky Mountains.

She was in her 95th year and living in her own home in Toronto. She passed away peacefully in her sleep with her son Greg at her side, who had been her caregiver for her last years.

She was the loving mother of Steve (Cathy), Deborah (Gary), and Greg. She was dear grandmother to Craig Platt (Amanda), Ryan and Daniel Barkey, and Danielle Hewitt. Great grandmother to Natalee and Braeden Hewitt and Lucas Platt.

Pamela was a truly lovely lady who always put others first. She enjoyed having one-on-one chats with others, more than large crowds, and always kept abreast of current news. Her passion for following the Royal Family continued forever. She made the best ever lemon pie but not often enough.

She will be greatly missed by many.

Arrangements with Ward funeral homes.
