Wallner MarthaWALLNER, Martha   - It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Martha Wallner, on November 27, 2020, in the loving care of the kind souls at the Village of Humber Heights in Toronto, Ontario.

Martha was born to the late Franz and Adele Schweitzer, April of 1934, in Vienna Austria.

Two days after her arrival in Canada in 1955 she met her beloved John, also an Austrian, and shortly after, the two were married and remained in Toronto.

During their 49 years of marriage, they loved to travel, spent winters in Fort Myers, Florida and summers at the cottage in Kearney, Ontario.

Martha is survived by her much-loved daughters, Susanne and Maxine (Arthur), her deeply adored granddaughters Lexie (Jon) and Tori, her nephew Michael, her grandnephew Leo, and her sister-in-law, Doris.

Martha will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity, the deep love she had for her family and close friends, for her competitive spirit when playing games, her joyful singing, her wicked ping-pong returns, and especially her spectacular cooking.

We miss you Omi! A celebration of Martha's life is being planned for summer 2021.

If so desired, a donation in Martha's memory may be made to Alzheimer's research.
