FOSTKA, Richard Robert   -  Richard Robert Fostka, 81, of Toronto, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family at his home on December 16, 2020.

Richard was born in Toronto in May 1939, the son of the late Joseph and Stella Fostka.

He earned his Master of Education from the University of Toronto and spent his professional career as an educator and administrator with the Toronto Board of Education.

He is survived by his loving wife and partner of more than 50 years, Barbara, his daughters Shannon and Megan, grandsons, Benjamin and Lucas, and brother, Edward. Richard was a devoted husband and loving father and dedicated his life to taking care of his family and friends, providing cherished advice and guidance to those he loved.

The impact he had on those who loved him will be felt for years to come, and although the loss of his presence will create an immense void, we will cherish the memories and deeply loving relationships that he created.

He lived his life in the same way he chose to leave life, without fear of consequences of the unknown and with immeasurable courage and strength of character.

"Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night, sweet prince; and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest." – Hamlet.
