BORISKA, Jean Josephine (nee Wierzbicki) - (May 16, 1935 - December 20, 2020) -
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother Jean Boriska at the age of 85. She left us peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family on December 20, 2020.
Beloved wife of the late Alexander Boriska (1992). Cherished mother of Susan, Caryn (Rick), Terry (Oscar) and Allan (Tracey). Loving and devoted Nanny to Ryan (Maria), Caitlyn (Andrew), Alexa (fiancé Daniel), Chandler, Carleigh and Rachel. Loving Great-Nanny to Charlotte, Logan, James and Lilith.
Survived by her sister-in-law Emilie Wilkes and Eileen and Joe Boriska. Kind and caring aunt to many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Dr. Patricia Wong for her loving care and ongoing support of our mother during this difficult time.
Respecting the current restrictions, a Virtual visitation will be conducted at Ward Funeral Home (Weston Chapel) on Wednesday December 23rd at 1:30pm. This will be followed by a private graveside service. The Family has provided the opportunity to view this through a livestream link at www.wardfuneralhomes.com. This link will become available at the time of the service.
A celebration of our mother's life will take place at a later date.
